A man who owns a cassowary which is known as world's deadliest bird', has been attacked and killed by his pet bird.

The deadly bird kills the owner with huge claws while he was feeding it

The 75-year-old man was savaged after he stumbled in the cassowary's enclosure while feeding it in Florida.

A cassowary is a large, flightless bird native to the tropical forests of New Guinea and north-eastern Australia.

The man, named in US media as Marvin Hajos, was mauled at 10am yesteday.

Lieutenant Brett Rhodenizer, from the Alachua County Sheriff's Office, told mycbs4.com : "Unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries at the hospital."


"We are working in our investigation to confirm this was in fact a tragic accident for a man and his family."

The bird was reportedly being kept at the property as a pet. It has since been secured at the site, police said.

An Indonesian man named Nedi Sito, of the village of Maron Kidul in the Maron District of Indonesia's East Java province, had arrested his son-in-law following the sudden death of his daughter Jumantri. He accused his son-in-law for killing his daughter with his huge joystick.

The mourning husband was forced to show Police his joystick after his father-in-law claimed it was so big it had killed his daughter during s.ex.

Real cause of death

But Mr Sito had heard rumours his son-in-law accidentally killed her during sex with his huge penis and reported it to police.

Barsah was then asked to show officers his genitals with members of the grieving family and village officials looking on as witnesses.


Probolinggo Police Crime Investigation Unit Head Riyanto said: "After seeing directly the genitalia that was thought to be over-sized, it turned out to be of the standard size.

Police were called to the scene after horrified parents spotted them openly engaging in sexual activity on the multi-coloured observation Wheel in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, US.

Michael Mathisen and Lauren Wilder were taken into custody shortly after the offence was reported

In today's article I will share with you the facts and history about NCAA tournament, why it is called March Madness and many more.

For the sport fans, in particular fans of basketball, there's a time of year that's extra special. It's that time when everywhere you turn, sports analyst are talking about bubble teams, brackets, and buzzer beaters. What exactly are we talking about? March Madness, of course!

What is March Madness?

March Madness refers to that time of year (from mid-March to the beginning of April) when the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men's and women's college basketball tournaments are held.

The excitement during time of the year swirls around the sports world as tournament time approaches. In the weeks leading up to the "Big Dance," as it is called, hundreds of college basketball teams from all over the United States fight to earn a spot in the tournament.


The NCAA college basketball tournament is a single-elimination tournament that features 68 teams vying to survive three weekends of games to be crowned the national champions. The field used to be 64 teams, but the NCAA has recently added four more teams that play "play in" games to earn a spot in the final field of 64.

Only 16 teams (the "Sweet Sixteen") make it past the first weekend. The second weekend narrows the field first to the "Elite Eight" and then the "Final Four. The final weekend focuses on the four semifinalists. The two semifinal victors move on to play in the national championship game.

When it Started?

March Madness was initially birthed by Coach Harold Olsen, Ohio State University coach was credited with developing the idea for the tournament in 1939 with the help of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.


The 68 teams in the tournament include 32 teams that receive automatic bids for winning their respective conferences. The remaining 36 teams are given at-large bids by the NCAA selection committee based upon their performance during the season.

The qualifying teams are divided into four regions (usually spread geographically through the eastern, western, midwestern, and southern U.S.) and placed into a bracket that lays out the path a team must take to reach the finals. Each team is seeded or ranked within its region, from 1 to 16.

Higher-seeded teams generally play lower-seeded teams in the beginning. At March madness time each year, millions of people attempting to predict the winners of all the games.

Betting sites are not left out either, they bring out odds, mouth watering odds to attract fans of the game.


There are usually enough upsets, however, that it's nearly impossible to predict a perfect bracket. In fact, your chances of correctly guessing the winner of every game is less than 1 in 9.2 quintillion.

As multiple games are played simultaneously at neutral sites all over the country.

The University of California (UCLA) is the most successful team of the tournament, holds the record for 11 titles.

An Illinois man has accidentally shoot himself in the penis but was Arrested and charged with carrying unlicensed gun.

Mark Anthony Jones, 46, of Marion, Illinois, USA, last month shoot himself when his 9mm handgun slipped from his waistband.

Marion Police released a statement confirming that the bullet entered just above Mr Jones's penis and exited his scrotum.

He was rushed to the emergency room of Marion General Hospital for an accidental self-inflicted gunshot injury, the force said.

Mr Jones reported to the police that he was carrying the Hi Point 9mm weapon in his waist band without a holster when he had a walk near the Girl Scout cabin on February 28.

According to the police, the 46-year-old does not have an Indiana Handgun License.

When the handgun began to slip, he reached down to adjust the weapon, causing it to fire.

Mr Jones's current condition is not known.

A New Zealand Senator, Fraser Anning was smashed with egg by a man at an organised event in Melbourne which saw People protesting against the senator's islamophobic comments about the recent mosques attack in christchurch.

Senator Fraser Anning had earlier spoken against the immigration law and how Muslim are allowed into country.He released a media statement yesterday when news of "New Zealand Mosque Shooting, left Many dead, Dozen injured and Bombs found" broke out.

Here is what the New Zealand Senator (Fraser Anning) said:

“I am utterly opposed to any form of violence within our community, and I totally condemn

the actions of the gunman,” Senator Anning said.

“However, while this kind of violent vigilantism can never be justified, what it highlights is the growing fear within our community, both in Australia and New Zealand, of the increasing Muslim presence.


“As always, left-wing politicians and the media will rush to claim that the causes of today’s shootings lie with gun laws or those who hold nationalist views but this is all clichéd nonsense.

“The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.”

Senator Anning went on to say that while Muslims may have been victims of attacks, he claimed they were also perpetrators. and blamed deaths on “the entire religion of Islam”. “It is the religious equivalent of fascism,” he said.


He ended with a passage from the bible and said those who followed a violent religion that called on them to murder “cannot be too surprised when someone takes them at their word and responds in kind”.

Chinese, Kenyan  national mourning their relatives

Emily standing stranded

Flight crew from Thomas Cook allegedly threw passenger young lady out of air plane, refuses to fly her on holiday - because her outfit was "inappropriate".

Emily O'Connor said it was the "worst experience" of her life when she was apparently told she could only travel if she put on an appropriate outfit.

The 21-year-old said she was dressed in a pair of orange trousers and a black strappy bralet when she stepped on board the plane.

"They had 4 flight staff around me to get my luggage to take me off the plane."

Madalyn Ardnett to face five years jail term

A schoolteacher is facing five years in jail for having sex in a car park with a 16-year-old student.

The social studies teacher pleaded guilty when she appeared before a judge in the US state of Ohio.

Local paper the Journal-News reports that the former Franklin High School teacher Madalyn Arnett admitted a sex charge involving a teenage student.

She now faces up to five years in prison.


The 26-year-old mother-of-two was arrested at her West Carrollton home in March last year and charged with sexual battery.

She was indicted by a Warren County grand jury a few weeks later.

She has since appeared in court to plead guilty to a third-degree felony that involved a boy who was aged 16 at the time.

Leanne said she is lucky

Some days back, we reported how jaguar attacked a woman after posing close to it, for a selfie at zoo.  Luckily, she survived to tell the story.

Identified as Leanne, the woman in her 30s admitted she has now "learned her lesson".

She was pictured writhing on the floor at Wildlife World Zoo near Phoenix, Arizona , on Saturday with blood pouring out her hand and arm.

She had leaned over a security barrier to take some photographs but the jungle cat swiped her arm.


"The black jaguar was up against the fence we happened to be walking by and said 'hey, let's get some good pictures,'" she told CBS News.

"I was in the wrong for leaning over the barrier, but I think the zoo should consider moving their fence back."

Horrified passersby rushed to aid Leanne, who was dashed to hospital with "stable, non-life threatening injuries".

The woman had stitches on her arm and was released the same day.

But she confessed she felt she was lucky to survived the horror.


Leanne continued: "Anybody can reach out.

"I'm not the first, and if they don't move the fence, I'm probably not going to be the last."

jaguar and its victim

A jaguar has attacked a woman at a zoo after posing close to a barrier to take a selfie.

The animal reached out and grabbed the woman's arm with its paw, leaving her with cuts which required medical attention.

The attack took place in the big cat's enclosure at Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park near Phoenix, Arizona at approximately 6.40pm on Saturday.


Shawn Gilleland, spokesman for the Rural Metro Fire Department, told the Washington Post that her injuries were not life-threatening.

The zoo confirmed that "at no time was the animal out of its enclosure", asking visitors to "please understand why barriers are put in place".
Paramedics were called "at the request of the family" to treat the unidentified woman, who is in her 30s.
