Studies has shown how wonderful and a good companion a Dogs are to human. Dogs are loyal to a fault and can do anything for its human owner. Here is reason why dogs are the best pets and should be worshiped for their capabilities – it turns out that, if you’re a woman, your pooch could be the key to a good night’s sleep.
New findings by researchers at Cansius College, New York, showed that women who slept with a dog in their bed enjoyed a better quality of sleep, woke up earlier and felt safer. The study, which had 926 adult female participants and was published in the Anthrozoös journal, also revealed that pups beat out both cats and people in helping women snooze.
In fact, it was found that sharing a bed with felines was just as disruptive as sleeping next to a human, and owners felt less comfort when doing so. Meanwhile, cuddling up under the covers with Fido made owners feel secure and comfortable, as well as encouraged them to wake up earlier, compared to when they slept without a pet or next to a cat. Admittedly, researchers said this could be due to how owners perceive their pets and the findings needs further input.
A 31-year-old, named Kelly Fielding went savage when an eatery staff (fried chicken) turned down her offer of sex in return for free food.
She quickly became abusive (poured out racist rant) so they gave her four chicken wings in the hope it would make her leave.
However, she didn’t stop with her abuse, slapping the takeaway manager as he tried to escort her out of the shop and calling him a ‘f**king P**i c**t’.
As police arrive, she continued hurling abuse, this time at officers.
She kicked and spat at police, narrowly missing an officer’s face at Chesters Chicken in Wythenshawe, south Manchester. Back at the station Fielding said that she was acting in self-defence and tried to lodge a complaint against the owner of the takeaway. However, after CCTV footage was released she admitted being racist, assaulting two police officers and attacking one of the shop workers
California - A US citizen named Cam Underwood, 26, was left with just a forehead, eyeballs and tongue when he tried to take his own life two years ago. Since then has undergone multiple operations in the most technologically advanced face transplant ever.
Cam said he now enjoys everything he use to do before he try taking his life.
‘I’ve been able to get back to many of the activities I love, like being outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with my family. I hope to get back to work soon, too, and someday start a family.’ Before his suicide attempt he suffered depression years and told his parents that he had considered killing himself. He woke up in hospital in California five weeks after taking a gun to his own head, unable to eat and talk, and ashamed to see people without wearing a mask.
Dr Eduardo Rodriguez from New York University Langone Health heard about his case and in January this year a donor for the face transplant became available. His recovery has been so remarkable that he was able to take part in a skydive within just a few months of the transplant.
Dr Rodriguez said: ‘I can at least check off the box that a face transplant can tolerate jumping 15,000 out of the air – and it all held together. I think this photo [of him skydiving] shows Cam is living and doing the things he loves.’ At one point the operation was in jeopardy because of an arctic storm that hit the US but he made it from California to New York for the operation. His donor was Will Fisher who died in New York after a battle with mental illness. He was a registered as a donor and a similar age to Cam so his mother Sally agreed to the transplant.
Cam said during an emotional press conference: ‘Mom, Dad, Julie, Aaron, and Brad, thank you for not giving up on me. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. ‘I especially want to thank Live On New York and Will and Sally Fisher – my donor and his mom
‘I want Sally and her family to know how much my family and I appreciate their gift and that I will always honour Will’s legacy.’

The Executive Director, Administration and Finance, Delta State Oil Producing Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Askia Ogieh, has ordered the arrest of one Mrs. Doris Ogbor, for participating in a protest over non-payment of their 13 months' bonuses and other entitlements.
News agency gathered that Ogbor, a mother of three, is currently being remanded at the Okere Maximum Prison, Warri, Delta State.
In January 2017, aggrieved workers of DESOPADEC protested naked over "maltreatment and refusal to pay their 13-month' bonuses and other entitlements".
One of Ogbor's colleagues, who asked not to be named while speaking with Reporters, said: "The arrest and trial of our colleague resulted from the protest by workers of the DESOPADEC over the non-payment of our 13 months' bonuses and other entitlements".
According to a staff member of the commission, "among all those who participated in the protest, Mrs. Ogbor was singled out by Ogieh and was arrested and charged to court in Warri over trumped-up charges. Doris is reported to have been remanded in the Okere Maximum Prison in Warri.
Some senior management staff of the commission who confided in SaharaReporters stated that all efforts to pacify Ogieh were rebuffed, as the Executive Director was said to have claimed that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was aware of the issue and was in support of the arrest and court case.
"For the past one week also, we have tried all we could to pacify the Executive Director, Administration and Finance, (DESOPADEC), Askia Ogieh, to drop whatever trumped-up charges he has against Mrs. Doris Ogbor, who is also from the same ethnic group with him. But Askia told us pointblank that he was not afraid of anything, that Governor Okowa was fully aware of the arrest and the court case," a senior member of staff of the commission said.
"He said to our faces that the he has the Governor's full backing on the issue and Doris will rot in jail. After the arrest of Mrs. Doris Ogbor, she was first charged to the customary court. After a time, Askia Ogieh withdrew the case and to the surprise of everyone, he took the case again to the High Court in Warri with trumped-up charges and she was finally remanded last week in Okere Maximum Prison, Warri."
Speaking on the development, a director in the commission who preferred not to be named, expressed disappointment and sadness over the action of his colleague, Ogieh.
"We have all condemned his action. Askia's name is synonymous with trouble. Since the inception of the board, he has continued to give the commission a bad image," the director said.
He is so arrogant, corrupt and fraudulent. Askia used his closeness with the governor to intimidate management and staff. He inflates contracts, collects kickbacks from contractors, uses fictitious company names and cronies to grab contracts from the commission."
Meanwhile, management and staff of DESOPADEC have called on the Governor to intervene in the matter so that Ogbor can get her freedom and reunite with her family.
Contacted on the issue, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, expressed shock over the linking of the Governor to the issue, saying: "Of course, you know the Governor cannot order the arrest of any innocent person."
Aniagwu promised to find out what was happening.
All efforts to reach Ogieh for comments proved abortive, as several calls and messages put to him were not responded to as of press time.
dailyworldgist reliably learnt that come December 4, 2018, Ogbor will be brought to court for continuation of the case.
A boy has appeared in court over the alleged murder of a girl, 14, who was r@ped even after he had murdered her. A court heard yesterday that the boy, who cannot be named because he is just 16, killed Viktorija Sokolova and left her in woodland to be found by a passer by.
She died from a blunt force trauma to the head and tests revealed she had been r@ped before her death and after it in West Park, Wolverhampton.
The boy, wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans, spoke at Wolverhampton Crown Court only to enter not guilty pleas to murder, r@pe, and sexually penetrating her body. After the jury was sworn in prosecutor Jonathan Rees told them: ‘There will be DNA evidence in the case, there will also be statements from the victim’s mother and stepfather.’
Adam Cane QC, defending, told the jury: ‘Viktorija Sokolova was originally from Lithuania was attacked in West Park on April 11 and 12 this year.
‘The young man in question is 16-years-old. You will hear evidence from a number of people including her step father and biological mother and her friends.’ Viktorija was previously described by her family as ‘a little angel’ who made lives ‘colourful and full of meaning’.

Donald Trump has warned Theresa May that her planned Brexit deal could scupper new trade plans between the US and UK. The US president issued the warning to the UK prime minister outside the White House Monday after she spent hours defending it in Parliament. Trump said: ‘I think we have to take a look seriously whether or not the UK is allowed to trade.
‘Because right now if you look at the deal, they may not be able to trade with us. ‘And that wouldn’t be a good thing. I don’t think they meant that.’
He added: ‘I don’t think that the Prime Minister meant that. And, hopefully, she’ll be able to do something about that. ‘But, right now, as the deal stands she may not, they may not, be able to trade with the US. And, I don’t think they want that at all.’ The president did not offer further information on what part of May’s planned deal he was worried about.
He spoke out as the UK prime minister spent two-and-a-half hours defending her draft withdrawal agreement in the Houses of Parliament. The agreement will see the UK retain close economic ties to the European Union, which formally signaled its approval of the deal Sunday. That has angered many Brexiteers who wished for a clean break from the EU, but May insists her agreement will allow the UK to regain control of its borders and slash immigration figures.
Anger over the number of migrants entering Britain was a key reason given by many of those who voted for Brexit in the June 2016 referendum. May will now put the draft agreement to a vote on December 11, with many of her own party stablemates as well as those in opposition warning that they plan to vote against it. Should May’s bill be defeated, she will almost certainly have to resign as prime minister.

3 female doctors may face jail term if convict of a criminal case level against them. These women were accused of certifying a woman as autistic so she could die by euthanasia.
Autism Which is a complex neurobehavioral condition that includes impairments in social interaction and developmental language and communication skills combined with rigid, repetitive behaviors.
Tina Nys died after claiming to be autistic to two doctors and a psychiatrist. She was euthanised after telling officials her suffering was ‘unbearable and incurable’, however her sisters have said that her suffering was caused by a broken heart, not autism.
In the first such case since it was decriminalized in 2002, the officials face trial accused of failing to comply with the legal conditions for euthanasia. Ms Nys’s sisters have accused the doctors of making a rushed decision without treating her for autism.
The diagnosis had only been made two months before her death, according to the Belgian media. In Belgium, euthanasia has been allowed since 2002 for patients suffering from an incurable disease who have made their request ‘voluntarily, thoughtfully and repeatedly’. This right for adults was extended in 2014 to minors, within an equally strict legal framework. Lawyer Jacqueline Herremans said: ‘This is the first time that there has been a decision to refer such a case to a court of law.
‘There have already been legal cases involving doctors, but they have always resulted in dismissals before going to court.’
New Zealand - About 140 whales have died after being washed off on a remote New Zealand beach. A hiker discovered 145 pilot whales in two pods just over a mile apart late on Saturday on Stewart Island. About 75 were already dead and conservation workers decided to euthanise the others due to their poor condition and remote location.
It is believed stranding can be caused by a number of factors, such as the whales trying to escape predators, falling ill, or navigating incorrectly. Only about 375 people live on Stewart Island, which is also called Rakiura. The whales were found at Mason’s Bay about 22 miles from the main township of Oban.
‘You feel for the animals, it’s just a really sad event,’ said Ren Leppens, the Rakiura operations manager for the Department of Conservation. ‘It’s the kind of thing you don’t want to see. You wish you could understand the reasoning why the whales strand, so you could intervene.’ Mr Leppens said the whales were half buried in sand and not in good health, indicating that they had been there for perhaps a day before they were found.

Jose Mourinho has admitted that he has been unhappy with the attitude of certain members of his squad and publicly questioned the reaction shown by some of his players in the aftermath of their 3-1 defeat to West Ham in September.
But Mourinho has now taken a direct swipe at United’s younger players by calling them ‘spoilt kids’ who have ‘an easier environment’ to the previous generation of players.
In an interview with Univision, when asked what his young players at United are lacking, Mourinho replied: ‘They are lacking maturity. ‘And let me be clear when I say maturity, I mean maturity on a personal level.
‘We had more men, we were more mature, we were more prepared for life, we were less protected. ‘They are spoilt kids now, the kids of today have a different life, an easier environment and I’m talking about the people around the players. ‘These people give them too much affection and too many excuses. ‘People mature much more slowly now.

White house - President trump has directed that the $1.66 billion in security assistance to Pakistan should be suspended, following directive in this regard in early 2018, the Pentagon has said. "$1.66 billion of security assistance to Pakistan is suspended," Col Rob Manning, spokesman of the Department of Defense told reporters in an email response to questions on Tuesday. No further breakdown of the suspended security assistance to Pakistan was provided.
According to David Sedney, who served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary Defense for Afghanistan, Pakistan and Central Asia during the previous Obama administration, the blocking of military assistance to Pakistan, which began in January 2018 is a strong signal of American frustration. "But, so far Pakistan has taken no serious steps to address the core US concern - that Pakistan tolerates and often encourages groups which use violence against Pakistan's neighbors," Sedney told PTI. "Pakistan's leaders have promised cooperation, but beyond words, serious cooperation has not happened, therefore President Trump is frustrated and so are most Americans," he said in response to a question.
"This frustration does not ignore the suffering that Pakistani people have undergone. It just asks Pakistan to recognise that it should act to help stop the suffering of others," said the Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies think-tank. Previously, Sedney was at the Department of State and the National Security Council, as well as Acting President of American University of Afghanistan. He was a part of the Pentagon when Osama bin Laden was killed in a daring raid by US commandoes in Abbottabad.
over the last few days, Trump has said that people in Pakistan knew about the presence of bin Laden. "On Osama bin Laden, I agree with the views of Carlotta Gall of the New York Times who reported in her book, 'The Wrong Enemy' that a very small group of very senior Pakistani military leaders knew about Osama Bin Laden's presence in Pakistan. I have not seen any evidence that his presence in Abbottabad was widely known by many in Pakistan," Sydney told PTI in an interview. While Pakistan has suffered terribly from terrorism by Islamic extremists, Islamabad has also enabled extremists, groups that attack its neighbours, he observed.
