Appearing in Sunderland Magistrates’ Court today, the offending – who was aged 11 at the time of the attacks – admitted all offences.
Each of the assaults took place when the defendant and the victims, who were known to each other, visited one another’s homes.
According to Chronicle Live each of the victims were told to ‘keep quiet’ as they were abused.
The court heard that the boy’s mother ‘struggled’ to deal with parenting and would ‘frequently shout at and blame the defendant for things he had not done’.
He is now living with his grandmother permanently in another region.
‘It’s clear fact that the boy's behaviour has been affected by his ability to access p*rnography from the internet.’
The boy was handed a referral order after the judge argued it would provide more rehabilitation work than a custodial sentence would.
