A 58-YEAR-old
divorcee has revealed she loves hooking up with young men in their 20s
instead of “coffin bodies” her own age.
Karin Taylor, from
the East Midlands, discovered a new self-confidence when she hit the gym after
splitting from her husband at the age of 39.
She’s since
enjoyed a string of relationships with toyboys – including a five-month fling
with a 22-year-old – and prefers the company of younger men.
She insisted: “Do
toyboys keep me young? Absolutely not – it’s me that keeps them young and on
their toes!”
“In my experience,
younger men aren’t looking for a girl who only ever talks about the
Kardashians, make-up and clothes.
“They’re looking
for someone they can relate to on a more intellectual level. They relish the
company of a strong woman with a brain, who doesn’t have the usual hang-ups.
“I’ve tried dating
men who are my age but I just naturally gravitate towards younger men.
“And of course,
younger men are more s exy, confident – and easier to put in their place. Some
older men I’ve met act like coffin bodies.”
Karin, who works
in marketing and sales and is currently single, explained: “I got married to a
lovely man who was eight years older than me when I was aged 19.
“Divorcing after
two decades of marriage was scary – especially as I had been with my husband
during my most formative years.
“I found it
difficult to come to terms with being single again and indeed living on my own.
“But a few months
after our break-up, I was fortunate to meet a friend who was recently divorced,
too.
“She helped me get
through those difficult times and she overhauled my slightly frumpy style to a
more s exy and feminine look.
“I had also been
exercising a lot so I felt and looked fit. I was enjoying being single and
visiting trendy bars on the weekend – I felt my life was on the up!”
Karin quickly
started attracting men – many of whom were just half her age.
However, Karin
admits she has had some hilarious experiences dating toyboys.
She explained:
“One time I was having coffee with a date 20 years my junior when the waitress
came over and asked to take our order.
“I gave her mine
and she said, ‘What would your son like?’ To which I replied ‘My son? No, he’s
just the guy I sleep with’. My date just creased up and said, ‘You are such a
wild woman’.”
Karin’s age-gap
relationships have inspired her to start writing erotic fiction and her first
novel, Courgarrama, will be completed this year.
Meanwhile, a
52-year-old woman has claimed to be Britain’s biggest cougar after hooking up
with 250 men – with some as young as 18.
