Trump to Scrap Citizenship for Babies Born in the US to Non-Citizens

October 30, 2018 0 Comments
The american government war on immigration is set to take another turn as she targets babies born in the US to non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants.

The president plans to sign an executive order scrapping the automatic right to citizenship for those children, complaining they are entitled to "all those benefits".

Trump said the practice of birthright citizenship is "ridiculous" and it "has to end", but his impending move threatens to spark a constitutional crisis and set up another legal battle in the country's top courts.

Trump plans to send about 6,000 soldiers to the US-Mexico border to bolster security as a caravan of migrants from Central America makes its slow trek towards the frontier.

In an exclusive interview, Trump told Axios on HBO that the order would remove the right to citizenship for babies of non-citizens and unauthorised immigrants born in the US.

It would target so-called "anchor babies" and "chain migration", and pander to the Republican president's right-wing base.

The practice outlined in the 14th Amendment has existed since 1968, granting automatic citizenship to any person born on US territory.

Trump, who railed against illegal immigration during the 2016 presidential election, said: "It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment.

He said he has run the idea past White House counsel and he will proceed with the controversial move which is likely to spark protests and encounter legal challenges.

A British woman Samantha Jones, 51, have been arraigned in a Malaysian court after allegedly murd3ring her husband at their home in Malaysia. John William Jones, 62, was found with stab wounds beside a blood-stained kitchen knife. if found Guilty she will face de@th by hanging. Earlier today Jones was pictured being escorted barefoot by Royal Malaysian Police officers to court.

Mr Jones, a former firefighter originally from Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, died on October 11 at the home he had lived in with his partner for 11 years. It has been reported that the couple uprooted to Langkawi as part of a ‘Malaysia Second Home’ programme, which grants foreigners long-stay visas. Police were called to the home after Samantha asked neighbours to ring for an ambulance, Chief Superintendent Iqbal Ibrahim told Hong Kong daily paper.

I was reported that a ‘heated argument’ led to Mr Jones’ murder. The former fireman was pronounced dead at the scene, suffering a single wound to the chest. Jones did not enter a plea today and her case was sent to a high court in Malaysia where she will next appear on November 29.

Prosecutors are expected to provide the defence with the postmortem, forensic and other related reports at the next hearing, Ms Kaur added.

Murd3r carries a mandatory de@th sentence by hanging in Malaysia, but the government plans to abolish the death penalty for all crimes. All executions are being put on hold pending changes to the law.
